Texas A&M Central Texas - Heritage Hall

This $38 million campus multi-use facility caters to science majors and research facilities. The extensive landscape design includes a front entry plaza with seat walls, integrated lighting, a rain garden, and a clone of Austin’s famous Treaty Oak Tree.

At the rear of the building, the designers took advantage of the natural hill country topography by designing a capped limestone amphitheater and stage, to be used for outdoor classrooms and convocation ceremonies. Our team took the lead for integrating ADA accessibility, hardscape design, planting design, grading and drainage, lighting design, and ecological restoration of 4 acres of meadows disturbed by construction activities.

Work completed while Colter Sonneville was employed as a senior associate at Asakura Robinson.
