Born into a Chicago family of arborists and botanists, Colter is a lifelong naturalist with BLA in Landscape Architecture and MSc in Urban Design. After practicing ecological restoration in the Windy City, he moved to Austin in 2014 and spent a decade practicing in landscape architecture design studios before founding Plantiquity.
